Laminates layers and process papers
Genuine vegetable parchment is specially adapted for bonding in Continuous Pressure and High Pressure Laminates processes (CPL & HPL). These laminates are used in the furniture industry for worktops, kitchen or bathroom units, in the building industry for doors, wall panels and flooring, and also for post forming, flat laminates, profiles, edges or soft forming.
Due to its excellent barrier properties and strong internal bond,
SulflexTM allows to create thinner and more economical CPL, but also for HPL by replacing release medium and using less impregnated kraft layers. It also gives flexibility to the laminates, increasing the post forming speed. Its natural gluability with PU, PVA, PVCA or neoprene glues eliminates the need for sanding.
Benefits with SulflexTM for CPL and HPL:
Thinner laminates
Greater flexibility
Tighter radius
Increased post forming speed
Higher internal bond
Higher resistance of the laminates
Sanding is not necessary
Protects the chromium belt from resin pollution
Genuine vegetable parchment is a unique, totally natural paper made from cellulose. It doesn’t require the use of chemical additives to form a barrier against grease. The simple process of modifying a relatively normal paper into vegetable parchment creates a material with a number of unique natural properties.
