Calendered packaging papers
Opaque or non-opaque, with high gloss or high smoothness, our calendered papers meet the strictest technical requirements and allow the highest converting speed. Ahlstrom has designed a line of calendered packaging papers extremely attractive to seduce customers from the food industry for applications such as confectionery, chocolate, ice-cream, dairy or bakery packaging. They also well apply to some pharmaceutical packaging for converting into sachets for instance.
Our ROCALONDE paper is an opaque material specially adapted for twist wrapping, particularly recommended for sweets packaging. The pharmaceutical industry values its properties when producing powder sachets.
The high gloss and high opacity of our calendered ROCAL is suitable for one- or two-side waxing, or for alufoil & PE laminating/extrusion. It is highly appreciated for chocolate box pads for instance.
