Using the Trinitex® three layer technology, we have developed activated carbon medias that absorb odors and improve taste, while being easily processed for pleating or spiraling.

In addition, we supply calendered meltblowns to the water filtration industry for use in Ultra-Filtration and Micro-Filtration.

For the Reverse Osmosis market, Ahlstrom has developed a nonwoven membrane support material, specifically designed for this very demanding application.

Recently, Ahlstrom introduced the Disruptor® technology, a breakthrough innovation, offering performance of UF and MF membranes with flow rates similar to nonwoven media.
