Ahlstrom offers two side release coated papers well adapted for transper application such as textile decoration.
Sulfu Release is particularly well suited for cold seal transfer while
Supertrans works perfectly with hot peal applications.
- Release coated Sulfu Release is an excellent transfer sheet for one and two color silk screened transfers with plastisol inks. It provides a nice easy cold seal release. The translucent quality of the base sheet helps the user of the transfer position the image onto a garment or textile.
- The Supertrans sheet provides total ink release with hot peal applications with plastisol, polyurethane, metallic, glitter and opaque inks. It also releases powder adhesives and offers superior dimensional stability. This sheet works well with silk screen and flat bed presses and is commonly utilized in roll form to provide markings for tag-less shirts.
Transfer sheets are available in either a sheet or roll format.
Genuine vegetable parchment is a unique, totally natural paper made from cellulose. It doesn’t require the use of chemical additives to form a barrier against grease. The simple process of modifying a relatively normal paper into vegetable parchment creates a material with a number of unique natural properties.
