Stop infection with single-use protection

Traditional reusable linen drape and gown guarantee no protection. Ahlstrom has developed single-use medical fabrics to deliver high levels of protection against viruses and significantly reduce the risk of hospital acquired infections. In hospitals worldwide single use drapes and gowns are widely chosen for their proven advantages.

Benefits include:
Safer for doctors, nurses and patients
High barrier to blood or body fluids
Lower lint than linen (lint is a source of infection)
Comfort and breathability
Proven sterilization performance
Full compliance with the AAMI* PB70 Standard
       * Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation
Full compliance with EN*1395 standard
       * Norms of the European Committee for Standardization
Guaranteed performance every time

AAMI PB70:2003 standard of liquid barrier performance and classification of protective apparel and drapes in health care facilities.
This classification is designed to make your job safer and easier by selecting the right product for any given surgical procedure. Choose the right level of protection on the amount of potential blood, body fluids and contamination anticipated during a procedure. The higher the levels, the more protection is needed.
