Ahlstrom has developed using the proprietary Trinitex^® technology a range of synthetic media designed specifically to meet the performance requirements of air intake filter for gas turbines.

In addition, Ahlstrom now offers a complete range of wetlaid microglass products that bring even higher efficiencies to the air intake market.

These products can be used in mini-pleat or cartridge filters.
The 100% synthetic composition ensure unparalleled strength in wet or humid conditions. Furthermore, long life expectancies can be met with high dust holding and low pressure drop.

Today, performance levels range from G3 to F7 (MERV 5 to MERV 13) classifications for the 100% synthetic media and F5 to U16 for the microglass media.

In addition to these synthetic and microglass products, Ahlstrom also sells a complete range of saturated cellulose based media for this application, with recognized durability and efficiency in the market place.
