Release base papers for pharmacy & medical

Self-adhesive materials add relevant functional features to hygiene, medical and healthcare products. And exact labeling of pharmaceutical products can only be achieved with pressure sensitive labels.

Once coated with silicone, our Silco^TM Light clay coated release base papers protect adhesive strips on baby and adult diapers or on sanitary napkins. These grades, as well as Silca^TM supercalendered release base papers are used for self adhesive plasters, transdermal patches and adhesive bandages. Silca^TM Classic grades are the ideal release base material for pressure sensitive labeling of pharmaceutical products.  All Silca^TM and Silco^TM grades set benchmark performance standards with any silicone system: solvent free, solvent, emulsion and UV.
