Ahlstrom-Munksjö announced an open invitation to design company headquarters wallpapers. Nearly 20 artwork was submitted of which we have decided to award three work.
The idea as to use imagination and design meeting room wallpapers for Ahlstrom-Munksjö headquarters. Work should describe our company mission – expanding the role of fiber-based solutions for a sustainable everyday life.
We collaborate with WallVision, the market leader in premium wallpapers.
She is a Swedish Art Director student at the Borås Yrkshögskola. She says that she finds this inspiring when you have many meetings during the day. You need a "flow" state in order to pursue your tasks. Jury loved the work and it was also very much valued in the company social media channels.
It was fresh, supports nicely Ahlstrom-Munksjö's environmental commitment and generates energy to the meeting room where it will be located.
Noushka Galley's geometric and rooty design represented a traditional wallpaper design. It will bring linear lines and green freshness to the room.
Open invitation to all participate in a design challenge
All people who are interested in photographing, drawing, painting or arts are welcomed to participate. Submitted work can be a photo, drawing or almost everything in PDF or TIFF format.
There can be 1-4 winners. Winners will receive its designed wallpaper worth 250 euro by courier. Selected designs will be decorating Ahlstrom-Munksjö headquarters meeting room walls.
The company will use pictures and stories of the design challenge in social media and on its website. Artwork sent to the company will not be used in any other purposes than the design challenge in question.
Send an email message to info@ahlstrom-munksjo.com, with your name, a brief description of the design, and the image as an attached jpeg, with a resolution 70-150 dpi. Winners must be able to provide high-resolution images in PDF or TIFF format.
ORIGINALITY: The design must be completely original and contain no copyrighted material.
Design Submission Legal Terms & Conditions
By submitting your design, and in consideration of Ahlstrom-Munksjö (the “Company”) evaluating your design submission (the “Design”) for its possible use, you agree to the following terms and conditions (the “Design Submission Terms and Conditions”):
The Design is your own original work, is not and has not been offered for sale anywhere by any means, and does not contain any trademarks, logos, copyrighted material, content subject to right of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property belonging to any third party.
The Design does not infringe any rights (including but not limited to copyright) of any third party.
By submitting the Design to the Company you hereby grant Ahlstrom-Munksjö the right and license to upload, modify, reproduce, copy, exhibit, create derivative works of, distribute, and display the Design, in any manner, for the purposes of promoting the Design including by posting at www.ahlstrom-munksjo.com and/or on the Company social media and other channels or locations, including Company office walls.
You may not use the Design for any commercial purpose (e.g., sell or license the Design, or offer to sell or license the Design) for ninety (90) days after the date of submission to the Company. Once ninety (90) days have passed, if the Design is not chosen for print by Ahlstrom-Munksjö, you are free to use the Design for any commercial or non-commercial purpose. You acknowledge that the Company may decline to select the Design or exclude the Design from consideration, for any reason, at any time, and in its sole discretion.
You alone will be responsible for the payment of any tax that arises as a result of receiving any present or other compensation with the monetary value from Ahlstrom-Munksjö, its subsidiaries, related companies, partners, or licensors.
If the Design is selected by Ahlstrom-Munksjö, you may display the Design on a website owned and/or operated by you, and you may use and display the Design for any non-commercial purpose; however, should you wish to further display or use the Design, or use or display the design for a commercial purpose, you must first obtain written approval from Ahlstrom-Munksjö, which may be obtained by sending an e-mail to info@ahlstrom-munksjo.com.
If at any time you become aware that the Design has been used, reproduced, or displayed for any commercial purpose, and/or that it has been offered for sale, sold, licensed, or assigned to a third party, you must immediately notify Sticker-wars.com by email at info@ahlstrom-munksjo.com.
If you are not in compliance with any of these Design Submission Terms and Conditions, the Design may be rejected by the Company, and may be excluded or otherwise deleted from Ahlstrom-Munksjö.
You acknowledge that the Company reserves the right to decline to select the Design for any reason, at Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s sole discretion, and that the decisions of the Company are final and binding.
Prize earnings: Should your design win the contest then you could win wallcovers of your own design with the maximum size of 14 m² (150.7 sq.ft.) The number of winners can be from 1 to 4. The company can select only one design for each of four meeting rooms. Winner can also be the same and also with the same design.
By submitting your design you acknowledge that you have read and are comfortable with these Design Submission Terms and Conditions, you agree to be bound by them, and you wish to submit your design to Ahlstrom-Munksjö in accordance with them.
