Conselho de Administração da A-M visita fábricas no Brasil

Nos dias 28 e 29 de agosto, oito membros do Conselho de Administração da Ahlstrom-Munksjö visitaram as plantas de Louveira e Jacareí, juntamente com os executivos da nossa organização Hans Sohlström, presidente e CEO, Sakari Ahdekivi, Vice-Presidente Executivo (EVP) de Desenvolvimento Corporativo, Pia Aaltonen-Forsell, CFO, Dan Adrianzon, EVP de RH e Segurança, Daniele Borlatto, EVP de Industrial Solutions e Andreas Elving, EVP do Conselho Jurídico e Geral.
O grupo também aproveitou o tempo no país para conhecer a fábrica da MD Papéis, em Caieiras – que passará a ser parte da Ahlstrom-Munksjö no curto prazo – e realizar sua reunião periódica, que teve, como desfecho, a aprovação do investimento de R$ 100 milhões em um projeto de melhoria na planta de Jacareí.
"Os visitantes ficaram muito satisfeitos com o que viram por aqui, em especial com o empenho, o envolvimento e a energia das pessoas. Sem dúvida, o que mostramos foi fundamental para aumentar a confiança do Conselho no nosso trabalho e no país", afirma Valmir Piton, Diretor Presidente da Ahlstrom-Munksjö Brasil.
Esta visita reforça a importância do Brasil e da região na estratégia de negócios da empresa, além de valorizar o empenho e resultados que estão sendo obtidos no país. Através dos investimentos que estão feitos localmente, a empresa deixa claro que acredita no crescimento de longo prazo da região, apesar do cenário instável que estamos vivenciando nestes últimos anos.
A-M´s Board of Directors visits Brazil plants
On August 28 and 29, eight members of the Ahlstrom-Munksjö´s Board of Directors visited Louveira and Jacareí plants, together with executives from our organization, Hans Sohlström, CEO, Sakari Ahdekivi, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Corporate Development, Pia Aaltonen-Forsell, CFO, Dan Adrianzon, HR EVP, Daniele Borlatto, Industrial Solutions´ EVP and Andreas Elving, Legal and General Counsel´s EVP.
The group also took the opportunity in the country to visit MD Papéis plant in Caieiras - which soon will become part of Ahlstrom-Munksjö - and hold its regular meeting, which had, as a result, approved the investment of R$ 100 million in an improvement project at the Jacareí plant.
