Ahlstrom announces price increases on filtration materials worldwide

Ahlstrom, a global leader in high performance fiber-based materials, today announced price increases on filter media products, as a consequence of the continued rise of raw material prices and energy costs.
 
The price increase will affect filtration grades produced by Ahlstrom globally and will be effective as from August 1st, 2008. The level of the increase will depend on the markets and the constituents of the products. Specific details will be discussed with each customer individually by the appropriate business teams in the coming days.
 
Ahlstrom is the leading manufacturer of filtration media which is used in the transportation industry and in liquid and air filtration applications. Ahlstrom has 12 filtration material production sites across four continents.
