MUNKSJÖ OYJ, PRESS RELEASE, 8 July 2015, at 10.00 a.m. CEST

Munksjö to present new release and label papers at LabelExpo Europe 2015

Munksjö, a world-leading manufacturer of advanced papers products, will present
new additions to its range of release papers for silicone coating, as well as a
new range of specialty face-stock label papers, while exhibiting at LabelExpo
Europe in Brussels, Belgium, from 29 September to 2 October. The company will
also showcase its collaboration with RecuLiner in the field of recycling of
silicone coated release papers.

Based on the company's patented1) technology, Munksjö's range of
supercalendered release papers comprises Acti-V® grades for PSA labelstock
applications and Acti-V® Industrial grades for double side silicone coating,
for technical release liner applications such as Tapes, Medical or Composites.

Acti-V® has gained considerable success thanks to its unique benefits: silicone
curing requires less catalyst (platinum) and energy, while silicone anchorage
is stronger and more durable, even in challenging environmental conditions.

Acti-V XB, Munksjö's newest addition to its release papers offering, combines
Acti-V® consolidated performances with new benefits. The product's enhanced
surface treatment provides an extra barrier that improves silicone hold-out,
with the result of a brighter stain test of siliconized liner at equal amounts
of silicone. Alternatively, the same stain test results can be achieved with a
lower silicone coat-weight.

Beyond release liners, Munksjö will also present Adercote, a complete range of
specialty papers dedicated to high-end PSA applications such as vegetal oil,
wine & spirits or pharmaceutical labels. Ranging from calendered to one-side
coated papers, the offering delivers a variety of properties for the most
demanding requirements: excellent grease resistance, optimum opacity and high
printing results, to name a few. Munksjö will also demonstrate creative design
effects being explored through special offline surface coating.

To support sustainable end-of-life for paper release liners, Munksjö will
showcase the innovative option for recycling silicone coated paper into
Cellulose Fiber Insulation (CFI), thanks to the collaboration with Belgian
company RecuLiner. The patented technology developed by RecuLiner allows
transforming silicone coated release paper waste into a natural, high
performance material for use in thermal and sound insulation of buildings.
