The low level of porosity in our pods allows to avoid dust percolation in the cup and increase the pressure effect of the coffee machine for a thick, dense crema on the top of your cup of coffee.
For our pouches, high porosity and water permeability make it suitable for coffee preparation through infusion; delivering excellent conversion on machines, consistent brewing properties, high dust retention and high wet strength.

GreenPod Home is Ahlstrom's latest innovation for the coffee pod market that receives the official OK compost HOME certification from TÜV Austria. This new breakthrough innovative solution can break down and biodegrade in domestic conditions leaving no toxic residues or persistent microplastics behind, enabling converters and brand owners to develop GreenPod solutions that consumers can compost at home. The product is also compatible with all common converting lines and will offer optimal brewing performance.
