Manoj Chadha joined the Ahlstrom-Munksjö family in 2012 as a Finance Controller before going on to become Mundra’s Plant Manager – a role he has held since 2016. The importance of Manoj and his teams’ work has never been so vital as during the current COVID-19 crisis. The Mundra Plant’s products are for medical applications and therefore in high demand right now.
In 2019 Ahlstrom-Munksjö asked its employees to suggest projects or organizations that the company could support. One of the eight selected was UNICEF’S Child Protection Program in Zambia – an initiative put forward by HR Manager Karen Volz.

One of the eight projects selected was Origin by Ocean, a neo-ecology biorefinery start-up focusing on the technology to turn algae-based biomass into natural and biologically sustainable ingredients for use in the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharma industries.
Ahlstrom-Munksjö provides products that serve many critical industries around the world, including healthcare products and solutions for life science diagnostics, food packaging, and essential shipping materials, which are currently all in high global demand due to the COVID-19 virus.
